Step 1: Install Google Chrome

Step 2: Make Chrome Your Default Browser

Windows Users:

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Click the three dots menu (⋮) in the top right
  3. Select Settings
  4. Click Default browser in the left menu
  5. Click Make default

Mac Users:

  1. Open System Preferences
  2. Click General
  3. Find "Default web browser"

  2. Click the first result from the Chrome Web Store
  3. Click "Add to Chrome"
  4. Click "Add extension" when prompted

Configure Adblock Plus:

  1. Click the Adblock Plus icon in your browser toolbar
  2. Click the gear icon (⚙️) for Options
  3. Under "Free Features", tick ALL checkboxes ✓
  4. IMPORTANT: Untick "Show Acceptable Ads"

  3. Click "Site settings"
  4. Configure the following permissions:
    JavaScript → Allow
    Pop-ups and redirects → Allow
    Insecure content → Allow
    All other settings → Leave as default

Step 5: Create Desktop Shortcuts

Make it easy for your child to access MobyMax with a desktop shortcut:

  1. Navigate to www.mobymax.com/MC56839 (our school code)
  2. Click the three dots menu (⋮) in Chrome
  3. Select More tools → Create shortcut
  4. Name it with your child's name (e.g., "Sarah's MobyMax")
  5. Check "Open as window" for a cleaner experience
  6. Click Create
